The big day for music arrived on 26th January 2020 when the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles. Billie Eilish stole the show when she took home five Grammys: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. Billie Eilish is a singer/songwriter born on 18th December 2001. She first gained attention in 2016 when she uploaded “Ocean Blue” to SoundCloud. According to news reports she will be performing at the Oscars as well.

Tool is an American rock band from Los Angeles formed in 1990. Their members include drummer Danny Carey, Guitarist Adam Jones, Bassist Justin Chancellor and Maynard James Keenan as vocalist. Tool have won four Grammy awards so far and won the Best Metal Performance for 2020.

Cage the Elephant is an American rock band from Bowling Green Kentucky that was formed in 2006. The band consists of lead vocalist Matt Shultz, rhythm guitarist Brad Shultz, lead guitarist Nick Bockrath, Keyboardist and guitarist Matthan Minster, bassist Daniel Tichenor, and drummer Jared Champion. They have won Best Rock Album twice, one in 2017 for “Tell me I’m Pretty” and in 2020 for “Social Cues”.

Willie Nelson is an American icon, a Country singer/ song writer, actor and an activist. Nelson was bought up by his grandparents, and wrote his first song at the age of 7 and joined his first band at age 10. Nelson also made his first movie appearance in the 1979 “The Electric Horseman followed by other movies and television appearances.

Tanya Tucker is an American country music artist who had her first hit “Delta Dawn” in 1972 at the age of 13. Born on 28th October 1958, she was the youngest member of the family. She later made her debut with Mel Tillis. Tanya Tucker is one of the best known female Country singers.

Tyler Gregory Okonma better known as Tyler the Creator is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and music video director. Born on 6th March 1991, he has had a very successful career. His hit songs are Flower Boy, Cherry Bomb and Wolf.

Lizzo is an American singer/ songwriter, rapper and flautist. Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts for seven weeks. Lizzo has been playing flute since she was very young and is still playing flute whenever she performs live.
