Medium-density fiber board (MDF) is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and creating panels by applying pressure at high temperatures. MDF is generally denser than plywood. These boards are then cut into desired designs with high-end cutting machines, thus creating a see through partition board.
