What is fashion to you?
Fashion is a reflection of one’s personality. The way you dress, from what you wear to your color selection can say a lot about a person.
What’s the difference between fashion and style?
I think fashion is all about trends; it changes with time. Whereas style is something you can personalize; you can experiment different trends and come up with something unique.
Comfort over style or style over comfort?
For me it would definitely be comfort over style. My style is usually very simple and casual.
Most valuable piece of clothing that you’ve ever purchased?
It was the Gianni Feraudovercoat, which I bought for £125.00.
In this season, what are the three things every stylish woman should have?
Since it is winter, I would say an oversized camel coat, a pair of leather boots and a warm, comfy hoodie.
An outfit you wouldn’t mind wearing every day?
White tee, blue jeans and a pair of converse.
On a one to 10 scale, how much would you rate yourself on the style quotient?
I would say seven, as personally I feel that I am not very much of a fashionista. I prefer outfits that are comfortable. Also, my choice of colors is very subtle and plain.
A celebrity you would love to swap your wardrobe with?
Kate Middleton. Her outfits are usually very simple yet classy with the right amount of accessories to go with them.
What would you never dare to wear?
Bright red hues most likely.
What would be your kind of makeup?
My everyday make up involves concealer, mascara and a tinted lip balm.
How was your shopping experience in Nepal?
There’s definitely a difference in terms of quality of the materials in comparison to the UK. Also in Nepal, for people who are taller than the average Nepali (me being five foot seven inches), it’s quite difficult to get the right size, be it clothes or shoes. I also witnessed that there is a rising number of boutiques.

Who’s your favorite local fashion designer?
I’m really impressed by Manish Rai’s works. I even got to wear his design for this shoot, which I absolutely love!
