Jyotsana Singh is the epitome of what we call— ‘timeless beauty’. She has had a very peaceful yet powerful journey. She was married at a young age and focused on her family and work. She worked as a youth volunteer at the Family Planning Association at the Central Committee level. She now spends her time collecting art and spending time with her grandchildren. Not one to follow anyone, Singh creates her own style which exudes elegance.

How do you manage to look so elegant all the time?
I think it is about carrying your own style. I do follow a daily regime that includes drinking plenty of water, going for walks and eating healthy.

What makes you glow?
I am at peace with myself and I don’t worry that much. I take life as it comes.

What fashion advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell myself to be comfortable and not take on too much pressure. When I was younger, I didn’t really experiment with hairstyles. I would always have a middle parting! So now I like to try various hairstyles.

How has your definition of fashion evolved over the years?
I have a better understanding of things now, and as I mentioned before, I create my own style that suits me and I feel comfortable in.
