Nakim Uddin, Chairman of Quest Entertainment, is known for his relentless pursuit to revolutionize the cinema industry in the country. From redesigning the entire movie experience in Nepal through QFX to making movies that are artistic masterpieces such as ‘Kagbeni’ and “The Man from Kathmandu”, he is very selective in every aspect of his life and it’s no different when it comes to styling himself. Nakim Uddin talks to Esparsh Sarawagi about how he styles himself and shares some of his fashion tips.

What is fashion to you?
I do follow the latest fashion trends. All thanks to my wife who keeps me updated with the latest male and female fashion trends. However, the definition of fashion has always been about wearing comfortable and easy stuff for me.

Describe your personal style in three words.
Boring, simple and not-so-trendy.

What is your go-to-style choice for formal and informal events?
For formal events, I prefer to be in my jackets and suits but it also depends on the formality of the events. At work, I mostly prefer to wear jeans and at home you will always find me in my pajamas.

What would we find in excess in your wardrobe?
Lots of polo neck t-shirts. Those go well with everything you wear.

Which are your favorite places to shop?
I travel quite a bit so most of the time they are purchased when I’m out of the country. However, when it comes to shopping within the nation, I like buying things at Labim Mall, Giordano, Jeanswest, Benetton and similar brands.

One style item you would never wear?
I am very difficult with colors. I don’t think I will try experimenting with colors like red or any bright colors.
