Rabin Shrestha, CEO of Lord of the Drinks Nepal and Executive Director at Reef Restaurant and Lounge Bar, is one of the most stylish and slick personalities in town who seems to be always on point regardless of whether he’s on a night out or just heading for a random business meeting. Suave and playful in equal measure, his fashion choices always hit the mark making him one of a kind. Shrestha talks to Esparsh Sarawagi, sharing his sartorial fashion choices and gives tips on how to maintain your style and class quotient while still being at ease.

What is fashion to you?
Fashion is all about being comfortable for me. This level of comfort can be different for different individuals and this is what differentiates each one of us. Being trendy along with confidence is fashion for me.

Trendy, Comfortable and Chic.

Your go-to-style choice for different events?
It all depends on the type of event I am going to and also my mood. I am comfortable wearing casuals and semi-casuals most of the time. However, I always prefer to add a blazer to take the look up a notch or two at most events.

What would we find in excess in your wardrobe?
I guess jeans.

One style item you would never wear?
If I talk about colors in particular, I guess I would never wear anything flashy. In fact, depending on the events I go to these days, I feel my preference has been ‘blacks’ lately.

A favorite color that is prominent in your wardrobe.
Lately I’m in the trend of wearing black and white for the last two months. I am also into white shoes and I feel I am very confident with these colors.

How do you accessorize your look?
My hairstyle without any doubt.

Some of your favorite places to shop?
Well, there are very few places I shop here in Nepal. There’s this shop, “Masculine” in Civil Mall. Zara is always on top of my top as I know it never goes wrong for me. Also, H&M has stuffs that go well with my body.

Most experimental outfit you have ever worn?
I wore a Sherwani to my friend’s wedding last year where everyone appreciated me for my style. I got that from a shop in New Road. However, I added a bit of my personal style to it and it really turned out to be out of the box, helping me to gather everyone’s attention.
