Suzuki swift has been one of the most popular and also one of the highest selling hatchbacks of Nepal. The first generation of the Suzuki swift was introduced in the 2005. The newly introduced swift is the third generation with upgrades and updates starting with the body. It has gained in popularity as a sporty hatchback in accordance to its performance and appearance. The Vxi and Zxi models of the Swift are available within a price range of Rs. 2,899,000 (VXI) and Rs. 3,199,000 (ZXI). Both the vehicles are available in Maruti Suzuki outlets and can be taken for test drives. The vehicle with its already established popularity in the Nepali market has been a popular choice since the first generation models. The company also claims to have sold around 6000 models of the vehicle since the year 2005. With a competitive hatchback market in Nepal, the swift can be compared to popular hatchbacks like the Hyundai Grand i10, i20, and other hatchbacks available in Nepal.
